IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- We will setup a Whatsapp/Facebook/Telegram group with a representative/teacher from each participating school.
- The tournament is open to students from all secondary schools in Nigeria.
- Games will be monitored throughout the tournament to mitigate the menace of cheating in online Scrabble play. We will be deploying a monitoring system using video camera to cover the playing area in addition to assigning invigilators to each school. We may require teachers to volunteer to monitor other schools in their vicinity as an external invigilator as no teacher will be allowed to monitor their own students. The monitoring setup document can be found here - https://bit.ly/3lmDfos to help all participating schools with setup.
- MGI will also deploy invigilators to schools where possible.
- All students participating in the tournament must converge and play in one single room in their respective schools for the duration of the tournament.
- All participating students must be a bona fide student of a secondary school in Nigeria.
- Participating schools will be responsible for surveillance equipment (Smartphone/iPad/external camera + tripod)
TOURNAMENT RULES/GUIDELINES
